Ledges Trail (CVNP)
The Ledges Trail offers one of Northeast Ohio’s most staggeringly beautiful views. In addition to the stunning sandstone cliffs that form natural walls in the valley (and create some very cool pockets in the heat of the summer), many of the trail structures created by Civilian Conservation Corps workers in the 1930’s are marvels in their own right.
The loop is a moderate trail with some narrow, somewhat steep and rocky sections, but the overlook can be enjoyed by almost everyone. Plenty of parking is available at the trailhead, however, this is one of the most popular trails in CVNP, so crowds are to be expected. This trail was voted as the number one trail in Ohio by AllTrails.
